Tell your Representative to oppose H.R. 3830 “the Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities Act of 2014,” legislation to grant “Fast Track” authority for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). The TPP has been negotiated by corporate insiders with the media, the public, and even members of Congress on the outside. Sources including U.S. Trade officials tell us the TPP will have serious negative impact on millions of people. Good deals pass without the need for “Fast Track.” The TPP is not a good deal, but we can stop the TPP if we can persuade Congress to oppose “fast track” authority.
