Please join us for our meeting on Saturday, August 22 at Antioch Baptist Church located at 1165 Mud Rd in Madison. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and our business meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. Janis Richter and Becky Thompson, along with David Vo, our Regional Organizer with the Coordinated Campaign, will be our Guest Speakers. They will talk about getting out the vote in Madison this fall.
Please plan to attend because we will be discussing the purchase of postcards and stamps to send to voters encouraging them to vote “Yes” for the three Virginia Constitutional amendments on the ballot. You can see the postcard here.
Also, there will be discussion on whether our committee should support the 1% sales tax on the ballot to fund capital projects and renovations for our county schools.
