Our Guest Speaker, Stacy Brustin, is a Professor of Law Emerita at the Catholic University of America (CUA) in Washington D.C. She is the Director of CUA’s Immigration Law and Policy Initiative which engages in advocacy, community education, and research on immigration.  She teaches courses on forced migration and human rights. Brustin founded the Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Clinic at CUA and directed the clinic until August 2023, representing clients in immigration court and before administrative agencies. She currently serves on the Advisory Committee to the American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration.

Thomas Carney, our new Regional Organizing Director for the combined Spanberger/Hashmi/Jones campaign also will be joining us.
