The next Statewide Election (primary) is June 13, 2017. The deadline to update your address or to register to vote is May 22nd, 2017.

On November 7, 2017, Virginia will go back to the polls to choose a Governor, Lt Governor and Attorney General (candidates chosen at the June 13 primary). Additionally, all 100 House of Delegates seats, and local Boards of Supervisors and School Boards will be on the ballot. In order to vote in the November 7, 2017 election, you must have registered by October 16, 2017.

Your address will be checked at your polling location on the day of the election. You will need to show one acceptable photo identification card (photo ID) whenever you vote in person.
