Speaking of ethics, you may recall the recent flap when Virginia’s Attorney General refused to honor a Freedom of Information Request from Charlottesville’s Waldo Jaquith regarding that office’s compliance (or lack thereof) with legally-mandated (Virginia Code § 2.2-3128) ethics training.

Incredibly (and quite wrongly), Cuccinelli’s office claimed that they were not required to comply with the FOIA.

Whether Cuccinelli and his employees are in fact receiving the required training, notes Jaquith is, apparently, a state secret..
